Our Background
Being in business for many years, the founder came to the realization, that one of the fundamental needs of a small to medium business is for the provision for best practice advice in the area of compliance. Trying to comply with all the regulations, or shall we say “the red tape” associated with owning your own business is not an easy task, especially when you are a start up business with minimal resources. Employing people to take care of the core compliance tasks of the business is not always an option.
This is where the founder saw an opportunity to help businesses comply with Health and Safety Regulations and various other compliance in a range of industries. Supporting business owner’s is an essential part of growing into a successful company, which is why we not only offer the compliance documentation required for regulations, but also the back up service. Coaching and reassurance is part of how we give you the peace of mind that your business is at the forefront of industry compliance.
We have a team that not only support and compliment each other but they also ensure the best services are offered to our clients. Each one of the team members play a vital role within the business and the wider community. Founder / Managing Director
I am the founder of Auxilia Business Support I understand the challenges that businesses face. From a young age I have owned and managed companies that have ranged from small to multi million dollar entities and in one way or another I have been involved with Health and Safety for the last 18 years. One of my biggest project I was part of was the designed and build of the first fiberglass caravan from the plug to the mold right to the production. (Yes, I know how to use power tools, fiberglass and some serious chemicals). I immigrated from South Africa in 2009 and in 2010 opened the first sole trader business in the mechanical industry, in 2013 the business was converted to a Company. Due to an industry change I had to close the company and I moved to Christchurch where I studied for my Bachelors of Applied Management with double majors in Project management AND Operations and Production Management. During this time I started Auxilia Business Support as a part time job and it’s now become a full time business, I have tailored health and safety systems for many industries including Quarries, plants, mechanical and engineering workshops. Medical equipment workshops, professional offices, sales yards, construction companies and compliance companies.
2019 will be an exciting year as I will be doing my final studies to specialize in Health and Safety. This will allow me to bring professional expertise to Auxilia Business Support.
I enjoy physical outdoor actives including hiking, surfing, shooting and 4wding. I have been on many 4wd trips with various clubs around Canterbury and have seen some beautiful places in the rural areas of NZ, including tracks in Reefton, West coast and Canterbury. I love to travel and explore new places.

Danielle POLLINGTON
Compliance and Documentation Support
I have worked in South Australia for over 15 years and recently moved to New Zealand to have a change of lifestyle and experience the adventures New Zealand has to over.
My extensive experience in government administration is underpinned by a Diploma of Government. This has taught me the fundamentals of risk management, policy development and project management. I am also conversant in health and safety legislation. I am currently undertaking study on the reporting and auditing processes relating to Anti Money laundring and counter financing of terrorism program to compliment the AML/CFT compliance aspects for Auxilia Business Support.
I enjoy reading, writing and improving my fitness through exploring this beautiful country.

Derryck HOWE
Co-Founder / Plumber, Gasfitter and Drainlayer Consultant
I have worked in the construction industry for over 20 years as a plumber, gas-fitter and drain-layer and am a professional in my field. I have worked in various states over Australia and spent the past 3 years in New Zealand working on the city center rebuild. During my years in construction I have been involved in multi million dollar projects and supervised large teams. I have sound understanding of operations, health and safety, policies and procedures.
I have co-founded Auxilia Business Support with my partner and work part time with the business. I am furthering my academic qualifications in 2019 to achieve a professional level of support.
I enjoy the outdoors, running, ,surfing, hiking and on occasion long range target shooting. I like to read biographies of inspirational leaders.
